Miner Feinstein renovated Building 17 on the historic Walter Reed Medical Campus as part of the overall revitalization and creation of a new residential community.

The renovation consists of upgrades throughout, the creation of 41 personal living quarters for seniors including UFAS (accessible dwelling units), the creation of community and common-area spaces, and new exterior communal spaces, among other items.

Like all SOME properties, the goal of the project is to maintain quality housing options for their residents while providing critical support in the programs and activities that are planned for the residents, both on and off site. As this renovation is just a small part of a major renovation taking place on the campus, the work required a substantial amount of coordination with the master developer and their consultants.
